Employers Health Purchasing Corporation of Ohio (EHPCO) is a subsidiary of the Coalition.  Formed in 1999, EHPCO is an Ohio Not-for-Profit Corporation through which all activities related to group purchasing programs and government relations are performed.   Prior to EHPCO’s incorporation, Coalition membership was open only to employers domiciled in select Northeast Ohio counties.  Today, membership in Employers Health spans nine states.

EHPCO represents nearly 150 member organizations and more than 500,000 covered lives in its numerous value-based group purchasing initiatives.  In addition to group purchasing and government relations, EHPCO also pursues market reform through value-based benefit design consulting and pay-for-quality initiatives like Bridges to Excellence.
