Recognizing that network depth and breadth are important considerations for employers when choosing a health plan, EHPCO developed a report that compares the Primary Care Physicians included in the health plan networks of fourteen major carriers. While the data in the report is quickly outdated due to the fluid nature of health plan networks, employers find the tool useful when making vendor changes and when consulting with employees during open enrollment.

The counties covered by the report are Portage, Summit, Medina, Ashland, Richland, Wayne, Stark, Tuscarawas, Holmes, and Carroll. Carriers included in the report are Aetna, Anthem, Aultcare, Beech Street, CIGNA, Direct Care America, Emerald, HomeTown, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Ohio Health Choice, Ohio Preferred Network, QualChoice, SummaCare, and United HealthCare.

Reports for the year 2004 are available FREE to members and at a cost of $25 to non-members.
